What are peptic ulcers? Peptic ulcers are sores that develop within the lining of the abdomen, lower gullet, or bowel. It is a district within the digestve system wherever tissues has been destroyed by gastric juice and stomach acid. HEADACHES Headache is an household name for any discomfort one feels within the head. Also anheadache is technically any discomfort one feels in the head or neck region. And what does one do? Grab some aspirin to cure the pain ? Though, you might be relieved from the pain of an headache, will it be back? Well the answer depends on whether you have first gotten rid of the cause. Ectopia cordis is a congenital malformation in which the heart is abnormally located either partially or totally outside of the thorax. The ectopic heart can be found along a spectrum of anatomical locations, including the neck, chest, or abdomen. In most cases, the heart protrudes outside the chest through a split sternum. Ectopia cordis may occur as an isolated malformation or it may be associated with a larger category of ventral body wall defects that affect the thorax, abdomen or both. This extremely rare condition affects just eight in every million births according to study. Research shows that with few exceptions, the disease is uniformly considered fatal. Death usually occurs within the first days of life as a result of infection, cardiac failure, or hypoxemia. The four main positions where it occurs are:: adjacent to the thorax: ~60 % abdominal: 15-30% thoraco-abdominal: 7-18% cervical: ~3% Cause  It results from the failure of migration of lateral mesoderm into the midline. Treatment  Due to the rarity and rapid postpartum mortality of ectopia cordis, limited treatment options have been developed. Successful surgeries have been performed, but the mortality rate remains high. May God save us from diseases that are fatal.

The Federal Minister of Health, Issac Adewole, has revealed that there is a new disease in Nigeria which has killed a Nigerian while another is currently undergoing treatment at the National Hospital, Abuja, Nigeria. Briefing journalists in Abuja, on Friday, Professor Adewole said the health condition known as Stevens Johnson Syndrome (SJS) was an unusual allergic reactions in Nigeria and some parts of Europe. He said, “We have to find a means to communicate with Nigerians,so they should all be aware of this dangerous disease and it is the sole business of government to enlighten the society by trying to increase their awareness, knowledge and to improve their quality way of life.” That is why I took my time to do some researches on it and enlighten people.
